If you were to draw a map of your personal faith journey, what would it look like? What landmarks and wrong turns have been a part of your journey?
If were draw a map of my personal faith journey it would get rockier the older get. I have had a lot of wrong turns and most of the landmarks would be in jr. high and high school. From my experiences I have learned how to act in certain situations better.

If i were to draw a map of my personal faith journey. It would be very positive. I do a lot of very positive things. Like help my parents. Help friends, close ones and family. One landmark is I argue a lot. I followed my grandfather’s foot prints. What I learned from this experience is arguing is not the way. Solving the problem is easier. I wish I had not followed his footsteps.
If I were to draw a map the capitals would be the main points in my life. The landmarks that would have wrong turns would be the bad decisions that I have made. I have learned right from wrong in my experiences. I hope to make the map better in my lifetime.
My map would be the same I have not made any bad decisions it has been all good and so I would not have any big changes or turns in my map. From others experiences I have learned what and what not to do. From hearing others stories I have been able to avoid the same mistakes and stay on a good map.
If you give me paper and a pen I would draw a map of my future and past life. The map would show all of the terrible decisions I have made in the past and my future will show how I can learn from those mistakes and better approach certain situations.
Some of the hardships I have endured was when I accidently backed into a truck full speed because I wasn’t paying attention. What I have learned from this traumatic event is to always pay attention and to never goof around when you are in a large vehicle.
What really made me think was when I realized I could have killed somebody. I didn’t look behind me and there could have been a person standing there. Even though nobody was there I prayed to God for giving me a lesson without it resulting in a catastrophic result.
The map of my personal faith journey would have a lot of twists and turns in it. These twists and turns are good because they represent things happening in my life. They can represent times when I was happy, sad, good, or bad. These events made me who I am today. Landmarks in my life include: my Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, and high school decision. Wrong turns include: fighting with siblings, disobeying my parents, and not listening to important people. I have learned that everything that we do in life matters. Everything we say, do, or think can affect the outcome of things. That is why we should watch what we say and do around everyone.
If I were to draw a map of my personal faith journey, unfortunately would be small. Although, one minor landmark would be Chicago and that would relate to my baptism. Another landmark could be Wisconsin since it isn’t that far it would relate to my journey to communion. From these experiences I’ve learned that faith doesn’t mean that you have to go to church every sunday, and worship for every small thing. (in my opinion) As long as you keep Jesus and God in our hearts we will live with him in the end. Keep true to the commandments confess here and there and hey you know what that’s my faith journey.
